The part that makes me laugh is it specifically support an Xbox controller. Not any controller/joystick you'd have hooked up to the computer. Not some code that'd allow any old controller to work, oh no. Must be Xbox controller.

This is a very stupid move, Microsoft. You truly have forgotten why people used to like you.

So sick of IE "anything" that it isn't even funny. Not even TechTalk.cc fully and properly work in IE. Those motherfucking idiots and their locked into the operating system "browser" can have IE.

I can't believe I was a huge fan of IE and only used it and nothing else some years back. I make myself sick thinking about it!   :eh:

IE to support Xbox controller

http://techcrunch.com/2014/06/16/micros ... v-channel/

This sentence sums up what the article's really about:

Now, developers and early adopters can install a developer version of IE that can run alongside their existing IE11 installs on Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1.

Here's what drew my attention:

IE now also supports access to the Xbox controller for web-based gaming, and the team has improved WebGL performance and added support for a number of WebGL features like 16-bit textures and triangle fans.

<sarcasm> So quick, run out and buy an extra Xbox Controller. I do so hope that the Xbox controller code woks with the Facebook APIs, so that I can navigate Facebook with my Xbox controller! That'd show them other browser makers! </sarcasm>
