Do I give a shit? Nope! Looks like good ole' Billy boy is comin' back on board to make some behind-the-scenes decisions, and it's anyone's guess as to what kind of influence our favorite philanthropist will have over the new big cheese. Bill is getting old and probably is more grumpy and grouchy than ever, so it's obvious that he doesn't want to get his hands too dirty, considering his foundation has been his primary interest after leaving Microsoft. So, Bill will be watching over his shoulder. Microsoft knows they are tangled up in a complete stupor, so If shit doesn't go right, then they can 86 the new CEO's boney ass and bring the next fool in. Microsoft is suffering from the "Infantile Syndrome". Their UI's, ads, themes, colors, fonts, etc., all look like they're designed for a 3rd grader. The first thing they need to do is trash all that stupid crap and start over. I mean, how dumb are they to have this shit still going? It's so ridiculous that it's almost not believable. At least it provides humor to some us.
Windows has grown bloated, still is full of bugs, is priced too high for what it does, relies on 3rd party drivers to function right (any problem there and the system takes a shit), has a monolithic kernel which is marketed as hybrid (this is a lie), the system is tied to the hardware (upgrades can bring the entire system to its knees), has unorganized and cryptic system folders all over the place, DLL files are scattered about which nobody knows about because the system is closed source, has backdoors, has a terrible UI, uses a bad file system driver which fragments the disk easily, is a major target for malware, has terrible security defaults and is insecure by design (even when attempting to secure it yourself), relies on a registry which is an overgrown hodge-podge mess of complete shit that nobody understands anymore (and is a central point of failure), has DRM built-in which phones home when it wants to, system restore still doesn't work right, no package management system, programs leave shit behind after installation (barely anything is ever completely uninstalled), registry entries accumulate over time, eventually the Windows machine will slow to a point where a reinstall is needed, video card drivers can be problematic giving users major headaches, boot time is as slow as molasses, no support for non-NTFS partitions, still crashes on occasion.
Aside from all the technical reasons as to why Windows truly is a piece of shit and insecure OS, the company can't make decisions worth a shit. Consumers don't have to be tied to a PC any longer, and they're taking the alternatives up. Consumers have their Google accounts in place already, and they synch their porn links to a new device upon an upgrade. Now why in God's name would they start all over with a Microsoft account? And due to Microsoft foisting Microsoft accounts on people and making it difficult for users installing Windows 8.x to get around the Microsoft account creation screen, they pissed off their existing customers. Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid!

The mobile market is already saturated. The idea of MS getting any substantial mobile market share is about the same likelihood of you walking your ass into a liquor store and purchasing a winning lottery ticket. The same with Bing; it's not going anywhere and will not.

So where does that leave Windows? It'll still be around, but its market share will dwindle down year-by-year. The future for Windows is bleak; it's becoming more and more irrelevant.
