simply need to remember that if you hover the mouse cursor over the center top half, the actual reminder will come into view, whereas depending on where you middle-click down in the lower right you'll then get the various things that you can do with the reminder. A left doubleclick in the leftmost pixel at the bottom will bring up the choices for how long to snooze.
