Main Updates in Version 3.66 install normally for me (on real hardware) if Main Updates in Version 3.65 is installed first. The file hosting sites that have a copy of 3.65 and show download statistics say that U98SESP3 was downloaded millions of times. Thanks again, PROBLEMCHYLD, for this good work.

I found this reproducible glitch on a Dell Latitude C800: 1. The SP3.66 Main Updates install normally on a new Windows 98SE installation. 2. If NUSB36E.EXE is installed before SP3.66, then INFEX.EXE always hangs on Main Updates. 3. The hang only happens for Main Updates. Other components can install...
