Have you ever found something really badly designed? Something which obscurity of its functions makes it hard to understand its use? Something almost unusable to a point it would drive you mad using it too often? Perhaps, a fool's design? Then you have come to the right place. Post your findings here and help making the world a saner place.

Fool's design.

Firefox - The case of wrong tool for the wrong job.

The completely moronic use of hyperlinks inside and in the middle of a text, in the middle of the options box instead of being consistent with the rest of the application and using BUTTONS as functions. Almost invisible to the user.

God I hate that trend.

You have no idea if a stupid webpage is gonna pop up in a browser, usually MSIE ( yuck ) or if it just goes to another dialog.

But the worst part is the dumbing down of Windows dialogs in general. We are not elevating the web to desktop standards ( though we could ), but are instead dumbing down the web to HTML 4.0. They've found a way to make the original VB dialogs look sophisticated.
