Have you ever found something really badly designed? Something which obscurity of its functions makes it hard to understand its use? Something almost unusable to a point it would drive you mad using it too often? Perhaps, a fool's design? Then you have come to the right place. Post your findings here and help making the world a saner place.

Fools' design.

Web design - where fools meet other fools.

Internet is a wonderful thing. Anyone can become anyone, pick any title randomly. Like when as soon as they learn a little HTML and can use some foolish library like jQuery, they become a "web designer". Designed [jQuery] to make life easier for the fools. Now they can even call themselves "web designer and developer".

On the other hand, there are real developers who also can be fools. The ones that allow a HTML/CSS element hover above the main application GUI, where parts of a Web site can hover above parts of your browser, basically outside its window.

Here is a nice sample from some random website, covering parts of your scrollbar... ah yeah, that's the stuff.

Are we living in a new renaissance? Hardly. We are living in the dark ages, an era of ignorance where fools roam the planet.

I have always resented it when people called me a webmaster. Back in the old days, only fools and ignorant people used to call themselves a webmaster.

The very same fools were most likely the ones who invented that word from the viewpoint of their own ego. They wanted to be a master so badly and typing some text and putting color on it was the easiest thing to become a master of. LOL

The very same people who could not even make a simple smooth scrolling text.

I agree! I always called them WebSlingers. They think they are programmers.

WebSlingers are NOT programmers!

<sarcasm>Putting text angle brackets is a skill. Notepad is extremely difficult to master.</sarcasm>

I suppose the real challenge is demonstrating that notepad is all that is needed.
