Have you ever found something really badly designed? Something which obscurity of its functions makes it hard to understand its use? Something almost unusable to a point it would drive you mad using it too often? Perhaps, a fool's design? Then you have come to the right place. Post your findings here and help making the world a saner place.

That certainly deserves its own thread. Maybe ciHnoN will split that off into a new one.

Anybody else starting to feel manipulated yet?

You are right, this one definitely needs its own thread. I'll try to do an editorial on it later this week.

Indeed, it's all very creepy when putting the bits and pieces together. Oh wait a minute, are you one of those conspiracy theorists? *sounding like a Metrotard* HEHEHE Just joking!

Another half blurred picture from Ars Technica. Why aren't we allowed too see the full crispy picture of the brownies? Who knows! Psychotics at work over there. The blur makes them brownies look even more like turd with chunks of undigested stuff in it. :?

In this next one, they destroyed the whole "discover the meaning of the picture yourself" thing by focusing on the sharp pen instead of allowing the brain to find the sharp pen in middle of other pens. Stuff like this may seem "silly" but slowly, they turn the brain functions off and making the brain work even less by feeding it digested information and not allowing the brain to process the information itself.

It is a subtle way of dumbing down the public by messing with their brains' functionality, making people dumber without them noticing that anyone is messing with their brain:

Imagine if they blurred 90% of the following picture. It would have completely destroyed its meaning:

This is a particularly stupid one. Possibly the stupidest one yet. The photo literally has no value. You cannot zoom in to clearly identify the ports. It begs the question, why even take the picture, and why post it?

It doesn't seem sourced from another article either, it appears to be a TechSpot photo. This brings up another problem, where do these idiots get their journalism cred from? No photo credit is shown anywhere, and the photo itself is not even mentioned in the text.

Just as a contrast to that previous photo, look at this one ...

... which was pretty much the industry standard technique for tech photos since, well, always.

It's so nice to look at that crisp and sharp picture of the moderboard. I remember, technology magazines used to be like hardware porn for me but these days, with the blur bastards everywhere, it's very hard to just relax, read a line or two and enjoy the pictures.

Doing that was one of the things I used to do when I had a nice cup of tea and wanted to relax a few minutres. No more these days! I get aggravated just looking at the pictures. They have all been taken over.

Here is an ironic picture from Philip Kaufman's Invasion of the Body Snatchers. It too uses depth of field! LOL! :( :? :(

This is supposed to be a picture of a new Itallian car called "Giugiaro Parcour". Way to go advertising a car like this, I sure can't see jack shit! LOL! Oh never mind, the car salesman assured me it's an excellent looking car.

So I was watching this crap "news" piece The artistic future of Pizza. Some of the scenes are not half blurry but COMPLETELY 100% BLURRY!!!

For example this woman is 100% blurry all the time while you "try" to watch her, see what these filthy bastards do to your brain:
