Even the "Wii U" text is blurry. The reflection on the table is a little crisp, however.
It's like everyone's eyes have gone bad or
they collectively have gone insane.

There was a time when an editor would summarily fire the reporter or photographer for a picture like that. It doesn't even make sense to use it.
The only thing I can think of is that they believe it is "artistic". I love Picasso and Dali and eccentric surrealistic stuff but I just don't see the point here.
It's a sign of the times. Amateurs everywhere.

This is from actual promotional material directly from SONY's Web site. A commercial for selling a QX100 with Carl Zeiss lens! I don't know who Carl Zeiss is but he should sue them!
The text "Enjoy detail, clarity and creativity" was not added by me!!! They added it themselves which makes it even more
hilarious creepy!
I'm almost certain that there must be some kind of insanity going on, hopefully it isn't too contagious.

...photokina, the world's leading imaging fair.
...funny how they don't even have a nice sharp photo on their Web site. Maybe someone should donate a camera to them. LOL!
Idiots.

see the new bill! ).
