No problem. We are glad it worked. The 1 hour timeout should not cause any issues unless we are attacked but in case of an attack, we will alter it down a little bit.

I am an - totally programing ignorant - admirator of the contributions to the old .... Forum and of YOUR work, marvellously continuing the work of GAPE (and others) on Windows 98.
I have used Windows 98 (SE) since 1999 until WIN 7 come out, and I only bought a new computer 12 years after, because I didn't find any solution anymore to put more memory on my old computer. I thus sprang over 12 years of evolution and missed out (??) WIN XP and VISTA.
But besides this, I also have a 6 years old (I believe) MACbook laptop, which I "herited" from the company I am working for. I am using this laptop for my astronomical observations in the field and there are a lot of VERY GOOD, but elder, astronomy programs (see for instance: http://astrotips.com/article/welcome-astrotips-v4 ), which are programmed in 16 bit (or even DOS), which you can only use in WIN98.
So NOW I am using Virtualbox (AND your really fine UESESP3) to run WIN 98 on my Macbook laptop. It works wonderfull, ... but there is one single (the only one) drawback: The maximum screen resolution of my MACbook is 1440x900, which - as I found out after many research - is a 16:9 resolution. And I cannot adapt WIN 98 on Virtualbox to this (large form of) resolution.
UNFORTUNATELY, I am a complete programing layman. ... I nevertheless also found out that Virtualbox, which allows for many resolutions, even superior to 1400x900, is ONLY PARTIALLY the culprit, as it does not offer virtual additions for WIN 98. The other - as I understand, more important - problem is, that the only virtual graphics driver available, i.e. the bearwind (or Vbemp) driver: http://bearwindows.boot-land.net/vbe9x.htm#2 only allows for 4:3 resolutions.
As I said, I am a complete layman on this, but I would like to ask you whether you think someone could write a translation from 4:3 to 16:9, from INSIDE WIN 98 and not from OUTSIDE (the Virtualbox), as Vbox, the only free virtual machine program allowing to "translate" WIN98 into MAC (or to use WIN 98 under MAC) does not offer a (VM addition) solution from OUTSIDE? Or do you think it is better to write to the author of the bearwind driver ? 5as I told you, I really have no clue).

You may have some luck using PowerStrip to add a custom resolution, but I have no idea if the VM driver can use it. You just have to try. I always have to add 1400 x 1050 on my laptop and 1680 x 1050 on my main computer when I do a new installation.

Yes it can. They are compatible with each other with no problems.
That is good to know ! I'll experiment with 98SE2ME sometime soon.

I will be releasing 3.27 soon. I found a bug that I missed in the last version. I highly recommend a clean install for 3.27. It is not necessary, but I recommend it. 3.27 will hopefully be bug free.
