PROBLEMCHYLD, the file that 98 Guy is pointing to is can already be modded and is seen as executable using devlib, is yours modded for some purpose?

Okay his is an actual VMM.vxd not renamed. So, what happens with his file and, again, was your modded in some way?

I just tried his VMM.vxd with RFMaster's patch, it does *not* work as is with more than whatever-the-actual-limit is, which is no big shock. I'll attempt seeing if I can use hexeditor

My file comes from the exact same source as 98 guy. They are the same. All crc/sha1/hash are identical. What I mean is when I try to replace VMM.VXD in the VMM32.VXD file with the hotfix version, there is no change. VMM32.VXD will not let me replace the file.

Try getting the original VMM32.vxd off the CD and just use RPLCLDR

Code: Select all

RPLCLDR vmm.vxd vmm32.vxd

See if that works.

I guess I should say -- try with the extracted version of VMM.vxd 98 Guy is pointing to.

Has anyone else gotten their systems going with RFMaster patches?

At almost 1000 hits already on this thread, you would think that all of those people would be verbose about it. It seems that we have a lot of shy visitors. :?

Well, I just got running again where I messed it up with the newer VMM.vxd. I'm not the slightest bit shy about telling the world. :geek:
