After all this time and effort you guys put in, all you have is an illegal hack of a pirated version of one of my old Demos.
If you bought my Patches, you would have the latest Version with ongoing support.
I already have solved the VFAT problem as well as supporting all Released Versions of Windows 95, 98, 98SE and ME.

As far as MSFN is concerned, you guys aren't the first who tried to post the German Patch, so they knew in advance that it was Warez. So far I have not seen an independently created Patch that can duplicate what I have created.

It is because of people like LAMP2222 that I no longer release Demos of Patches such as my SATA Patch or Terabyte Plus Patches.

As far as my "minimalist" Website is concerned, who else has a Lynx compatible Website.

@rloew,

I don't like you and I don't like your tone toward our members and our Web site. We are not a warez community and we do NOT host any warez in here.

:!:
If you accuse us of hosting warez, point to it and bring evidence and if true, the material will, of course, be removed.

Don't know who "LAMP2222" is and don't give a fuck. I don't know much about your demos or this project but produce and show evidence before you accuse people of wrongdoing.

Understand that you cannot accuse people of wrongdoing without evidence. If you accuse us of hosting warez, point to it and bring evidence and if true, the material will of course be removed. We have no interest in warez or stealing peoples' products or works. This is a legitimate Web site.

All that being said, even though I dislike you, your stupid motherfucking Web site and your even more moronic Hotmail account, I do agree with you on the point that if people like your product, they should buy it. It isn't expensive and you put hard work on it. You deserve to get paid for your work.

Please do not hesitate to put links to your product in this thread or any other information you would like us to know about your products regarding this specific subject. We don't mind you advertising a product which would help the original poster. You are most welcome to inform the posters about your products which solve their problems.

I hope that I was clear enough and if you feel that I misunderstood something, just explain and we will listen. :relaxed:

I 100% fully agree with you. Excellent point. :!:    :!:

People should either buy his products or make their own software. Trying to warez his stuff is just silly and as you put it so well, we will just end up running around in a circle.

REMOVED BY MODERATOR: Hyperlink. DUTCH LAW DOES NOT ALLOW HYPERLINKING TO WAREZ MATERIAL.

...To purchase the Full Version of this Software:
Send $20 US + $1 S&H per copy...

Fucking hell. I don't even understand why anyone would even want to warez his product? It just costs $20 bucks!!! Pay the man those few dollars. I'm sure he worked hard on that piece of software and he deserves to get paid if you are going to use his product! :problem:

Hosted on some free hosting without even a domain name... and using a Hotmail account. I say that's a pretty moronic thing to do... but hey, that's just me. To each his own is beautiful. :relaxed:

Then again, if those cheap idiots who warez your software would have paid you the $20, maybe you could at least afford a domain name.

Am I smelling blood tonight?

Maybe we should start offering a <subdomain>.techtalk.cc?

Since the "German Patch" is purportedly warez, please remove link in my post:

viewtopic.php?p=3325#p3325

I wasn't sure at the time and shall be more careful in the future. Note too:

IT IS NOT HOSTED ON THIS SITE!

I apologize for any inconvenience.

Thanks, I have now personally edited your post and deleted the link. Not that I wanted to but because I had to.

So anyway, I also emailed Rudolph and told him that he is most welcome to advertise his software in here and let people know about it. We have no problem with it. I also told him that all links and files are deleted so we should be fully legal. If anything we missed, please point to it so we can delete the illegal parts.

I think that he wants this entire thread deleted and killed, however. That is something which isn't going to happen unless he has a trademark and copyright on the wording "German memory patch" or something similar. He talks about how MSFN isn't really doing any censorship but it's a nice Orwellian doublespeak because in the same email he hints at wanting to delete this thread fully because "The longer this Thread exists, the more it will be linked by Google.".

Well, dear Rudolph, there is a thing called freedom of speech and we are lucky that people like you don't write those laws concerning freedom of speech. If you want to censor the words "German memory patch", you are welcome to alter the laws in a democratic manner or just buy a trademark for it or something.

Don't ask us to censor words. That's something we do not do unless asked by law enforcement. :shh:

Subject: RE: 2RE: .hosting patchm.zip?.

Dear Sir,

I did not accuse your forum of hosting Warez knowingly. LAMP2222 and Freora.de are the guilty parties. I suspect that "98 Guy" knew as he or someone with the same handle solicited Warez versions of my software in the past.

My point was that the participants in that Thread were making derivative copies of Pirated Software making their work Warez as well.

I noticed that some of your members accuse MSFN of Censorship because they completely erased Threads referring to the German Patch. This is because they know, as well as I, that even mentioning the existence of Pirated Software will lead people to look for it and find sites like Freora. The first few posts in your Forum's Thread prove this.

The longer this Thread exists, the more it will be linked by Google.

Sincerely,

Rudolph R. Loew

P.S. I think you can now see why I did not approve SPLIT8MB or V6 for distribution.

This is his claim:

My point was that the participants in that Thread were making derivative copies of Pirated Software making their work Warez as well.

Unless he has proof and can point specifically to where and what, well, we can't do much about it. So far, he is just accusing without proof. As soon as it is shown specifically in which post and whart part is illegal, of course, we will delete and remove the illegal material. :relaxed:

But killing the entire thread? Stopping people from saying "german memory patch"? Patchm.zip? "SPLIT8MB"? Seriously? That is never going to happen because it is fully legal to speek! At least, for now. So, feel free to speek as much as you like and use the words german memory patch, patchm, split8mb or whatever word you like. There is nothing illegal about saying those words.
