Well, I finally got my Windows XP Pro acting as L2TP Server. These are the features I have, all without using 3rd party apps.

FTP Server
Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)
Internet Information Services (IIS)
IPSEC Server
L2TP Server
PPTP Server
Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP)
Universal Plug and Play (UPNP)

Some are fully configured and some are not.

I want to investigate the one incoming connection allowed using VPN. I need at least 3 connections.
This is my server. Gotta make use of what I have. No more money for Microsoft.

That's pretty cool! ...but I wonder, if it would be safe to run an old IIS version as a Web server? I mean, Microsoft doesn't update the IIS on Windows XP anymore I assume.

I'm behind a router and software firewall. I use multiple characters for passwords, so it would take some time to hack my system. I don't open ports until everything is configured properly. I haven't setup the FTP Server yet, that will be my next step.

Oh OK, I thought you were hosting sites on the IIS. FTP should be safe I guess.

I don't know anything about ftp servers. I just know how to log in. I'm trying to see how many Server functions I can use without 3rd party apps.

I just realized L2TP and IPSec are two different protocols, or are one in the same. Shit, IDK
Instead of buying more software, I'll just utilize the Shit I have already. IPSec Server will be the next setup.

I have added 2 more protocols with Internet Information Services (IIS) 7.5 Express

HTTP
HTTPS

I will have a full blown Server soon.

Here is my L2TP Server in action. I need to find a way to allow more incoming connections. I also had to create my own Certificates.
