It’s unclear when, but in the time since release, Google has decided to allow people to download the installer image and write it to a USB using the dd command-line utility on Linux devices.

After unzipping, I wrote it to a USB drive using the 'dd' command on my Mint install...

You can read the date yourself. Given that they've been the worst MS/Windows shills ever, I should give them credit for even writing about ChromeOS Flex.

I was thinking about this after I had posted. The fact that that article's title starts with PSA (Public Service Announcement), cracks me the fuck up.
