What was the German software patch for memory use on win-98 systems that was removed from the "day-to-day-running-win-9xme-with-more-than-1-gib-ram" thread on MSFN? Where can I obtain that patch?

I, user.

Although, I still wonder what it was. Did the fucker just delete the entire post without leaving any trace of its name? What if someone wants to buy it? He should have just deleted the file. :?

I not only got the link but the actual file as well. I'm not sure if related to rloew but if it is, I will NOT post it because I do business with him. If it is not related to rloew, then I will post a link to the file. I need someone to investigate it and make sure we not stepping on any toes. Your point is well taken but it goes like this:

  • If it is warez, it must not be "handled" on any of our servers anyway.
  • If two people want to share warez between each other, we will not be the middle man to facilitate the transaction. That is a risk we are not willing to take.
  • If it is something super private, that rare occasion does not justify the extra server clutter and database cost.
  • If it is trial or shareware, post a link to the original Web site so people can buy it.
  • If it is not warez and freeware, it shouldn't be a problem to post a link or upload it right here.
Please remember that we are a small, poor :relaxed: ...and due to the nature of this place, a very hated entity. :?

It should not be difficult, just open the file in HEX editor and search for a his signature.

Until we actually know what the files contain, then we are in the dark like everyone else. I don't gain one red cent for crack/hack software , so I don't give 2 shits or 2 fucks. If it is legit, we need to capitalize on it, if not then we will find another approach.

As far we know, there is nothing illegal about linking to other Web sites and especially linking to .HTML files which you have done. All search engines does it so there shouldn't be any issues linking to .HTML files.

The link will therefore not be deleted.

If Google does it, then it shouldn't be a problem for us either.
