U98SESP3.EXE
(Regular HTTP-download: U98SESP3.EXE)

Thank You for this!

I had no idea that someone was doing this, and yet, now that I think about it, I'm surprised a lot of people aren't doing this with all the older (better?) operating systems.

Now does anyone know where I can get a standalone copy of IE6 SP1? I tried to download the files with the installer, but when I try to download the actual files to create a standalone version, the installer says it can't contact the download site.

Now, I don't think I need to assume that MS has changed the internet location to connect with the files I want, but maybe it's still available somewhere?

Links please

I'm not sure if this is only the SP1 or the entire thing: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... .aspx?id=1

Awesome! Update 3.53! Yet, I'm still having issues. I go to run the service pack, it extracts everything, then it opens up a MS-DOS prompt running command EXTRACT. It's stuck on extracting C:WINDOWSTEMPIXP000.TMPU98SESP3.CHM. Is it supposed to take a long while, or is there something that I did wrong. (I have IE6, WMP9, DX9, and KernelEX installed, and I disabled KernelEX extensions on U98sesp3) Any suggestions?

Uninstall KEX, install SP3 and then reinstall KEX. Make sure to reboot between the in/uninstall.
