@PROBLEMCHYLD

No problem. I'll play around a bit again and see if I can't also perhaps find the problem (it could be hardware related).

Referencing Jakes Post of Wed Jun 26, 2013 9:41 pm and others thereafter;
(Isn't it ResHacker.exe rather than ResHack.exe?)
RESHACK.EXE, TOUCH.EXE, EX.TXT
Is it relevant that these (and other) files are shown in the changelog webpage of
U98SESP3.xx versions up to version U98SESP3.16 at least, but that the files were
then no longer listed in the changelog webpage of U98SESP3.19 and higher? [I don't
have access to webpages of 3.17 & 3.18 , so can't check webpages for 3.17 & 3.18 .]
Or perhaps the files ceased to be listed in the changelog webpages for brevity's
sake, so the list didn't read too long..?
(As an example, view the changelog webpage for U98SESP3.7 [i.e. U98SESP3.07];
http://web.archive.org/web/201209070718 ... m/u98sesp/
and compare it with the current changelog webpage for U98SESP3.25 .)
-P.S. I don't see Jakes in the member list.

Regarding that, please see About Fool's design (...and rules, terms and conditions), specifically rule number one in bold:

"We do allow non-registered visitors to create and reply to topics. If you do not plan to stay long, no need to register yourself."

;) :) 8-)

We believe that people should be able to join a discussion without the need to register themselves, give out their blood type or DNA sample. This will allow even random and non-returning visitors to write a line or two if they feel like it. Those who register and join us, will of course have higher status and can expect a certain level of customer service from us.

That Europe mirror is of no use if it doesn't have resume ability and on top of that is time-limited. I'm on a GPRS modem and connection often stalls or breaks. I also have a limited download quota which - when depleted - caps the speed to ~15kB/s. A few failed downloads would leave me 20 years ago when 14400kb/s modems were the norm. It already failed twice now.

These files are hosted inside the forums so probably PHP (or phpBB) does not support resuming. We will add regular HTTP-download links for you as well. Hosted as regular files, that way it should allow the resume function. Thank you for reporting this issue.

Regular HTTP-download links are now added and should enable you to resume.

Hey fellas! I'm installing Windows 98SE in a virtual drive and searched ALL over for the latest unofficial service pack. Thanks for this!!

The main link gives a 403, but the http link worked :)
