May I ask what kind of lab?

...and yeah, why upgrade when older stuff do the job. In many case, the old PCs do not even have any rotating fan so they almost never break.

Material testing laboratory. For roads, bridges, soils, bitumen mixtures, concrete and others.

Sorry if I am rude (hope not), but the topic remains.... in the air. Perhaps lack of interest?

Well? Somebody has good news?

No good news, sorry. It cannot be found anywhere it seems. I hope someone who has the driver pack sees this thread and post it in here in the future. :?

Windows 98 Unattended Boot & Installation CD {Ajeetgagan}

It is slow (700Mb dl at 3kbps), but soon I'll start digging.

A good base to add updated drivers.

Can the "Windows98.UBCD.Feb.2008.iso" be hosted on this forum?

I am still downloading at this.
Best dl. speed was 3kb/sec. Still 30% to do...
It is claimed to have some driverpacks inside. By "Soporific" himself, from year 2008...

When/if I finish the download, I upload it here as an attachement? Or? What?
Will be available in a separate section of this site/forum?
I host it on my site?

Size will be >=700MB

Please advise.

Hm, double check that the file is clean, correct etc. and then create a new thread with the appropriate name and version, attach it to that thread. :)

Please remember that the file you upload must NOT contain any product key and must be fully legal to use. It seems that this package does not contain any product key and it will ask for it in the start, is that correct? In that case there should not be any issues posting it in here.

I'll check for contents when download finishes.
If it contains such I will try to remove it before post.

Or send by PM/mail a link to the file, hosted hidden on my site to those who wish to supervise before posting to new thread.

TeDDy, have you managed to get to those driver packs already? I just stumbled into this topic and I think I have the UBCD updates that contain them in some smaller packages than the full ISO.
Their names are:
- Win98.UBCD.v4.6.1.UPDATE.with.All.DriverPacks.exe (42114 kB)
- Win98.UBCD.v4.6.1.UPDATE.with.New.DriverPacks.exe (4401 kB)

Let me have a look at them - assuming the disc is still readable - and see if the driver packs can safely be pulled out of the update; if so, I may attempt to upload them here. Please reply if you still need them, as I'm on a GPRS connection which is quite slow and might take a long time or even fail at some point. Thank you.
