I did it! I FINALLY DID IT! I have built a 100% fanless PC! Just installed Windows 8.x on it and all is good so far! Very tired right now but I will be posting specifications in here. You cannot believe what an amazing thing a fanless 0 db PC is, until you try it in the middle of the night once! Wow, just wow!

Now I can finally play games without that horrible fan noise!!!

Stay tuned for the specifications soon.

Ps. This is a gaming PC, not a low end crappy one.

Cool (put unintended)! My PC has a bunch of 120mm fans, front top and back. I'm so used to it that it'd be too quiet in my room if I didn't have any white noise.

Well, I have attached a 120 mm fan to the CPU input but the fan is outside of the box. I did it because at first, I didn't dare to turn the PC on without any fans! And I need to alter the BIOS settings, otherwise I get this error "No CPU fan" or something. I'll be turning the fan off soon though as the PC seems to be working all good for now.

I'll try to post some temperatures from the system too.

I don't have a graphics card in it yet though, it uses the Intel built-in one but it's actually not that bad. I could play ARMA 3 on medium/low pretty OK. There will be a fanless card soon for it, however.

The one 120 mm fan doesn't sound too much though so it's very nice, I might keep it there. The problem with sound db is that they add to each other so like, if I had 1 CPU fan, 1 box fan, 1 PSU fan etc, they would all add up to the db.

I run my fans at 5V, they move and are near inaudible and enough to keep temps significantly down. I see that as an adequate compromise.
Now if I could silence my laptop...not enough room for mostly passive heat directing...

Yeah, those damn laptops... I was thinking of getting a gaming laptop at first, then my brain started to actually do enough work to realize man, that sux! I just bought an Nvidia GTX 750 from eBay which is fanless. Can't wait to get it home.

Oh, I and altered the fan speed from BIOS now so it runs at 200 rpm instead of 600 rpm... good stuff!

Still too lazy to post the specifications but I will do it soon. I got an Excel file with the list of stuff I bought.
