I have a Pioneer VSX-305 A/V Stereo Receiver and Philips HTS3410D DVD HOME THEATER SYSTEM.
I would like to connect them together, how do I accomplish this?

There's audio out on the DVD player that you can connect to one of the numerous inputs on the receiver. All you need is a cable with pair of RCA connectors on either end.

This is what I have. The Xbox 360 is connected to the TV through HDMI. I then have the A/V plugs from the Xbox going directly to the HTS. I know want to push everything to the Pioneer and control everything from there. I don't have speakers for the Pioneer yet, but would like to use the HTS sound for now through the Pioneer.

I finally got them connected. The Pioneer is setup to play subwoofers, while the philps play subwoofers and tweeters. But the massive bass comes from the Pioneer. Its has more power and the shit sounds wonderful.

I used to be good at this sort of stuff when I was younger. I had a thing for electronics in the past, I might give up the computer shit for gaming. I use to game back in the 90s. Linux and Windows is getting boring to me, nothing new worth pursuing. Fuck it!!!
