Let me chime in with my paranoia. Could this be possible? Hell yeah! Is it already possbile? You find it out!

Back when I was still watching television, the so-called news were full of road accidents. Invariably they said "driver must've fallen asleep and got to the oposite lane". Now, what if the driver didn't fall asleep but something - like the goddamn GPS unit - forced him to switch lanes and collide with the other vehicle!?

This could very well work for some politician that doesn't "obey" the rules or anybody else who wouldn't. Mobile phones are traceable; cars are traceable - how hard would it be to control two vehicles so that they would collide in a way that the targeted person(s) would suffer major injuries or simply die on the spot!?

Call me crazy but some things just don't happen at the very right moment - that'd be too much of a coincidence and this fuckin' life taught me coincidence just doesn't exist; everything happens for a reason!

Uhm, nope. Could you suggest some meaningful links, please?

Nevermind, I found enough information at Wikipedia. Well, after reading that, I really wish I were paranoid rather than right. :(

I'd recommend his articles as there are many articles regarding him that seem to have an agenda.

Mr. Hastings and Matt Taibbi made Rolling Stone quite a powerhouse.

It's sad to think that you get more real news out of some magazines and blogs then many 24 hour news channels.

Speaking of cars...

RF Safe-Stop shuts down car engines with radio pulse.

A British company has demonstrated a prototype device capable of stopping cars and other vehicles using a blast of electromagnetic waves.

The RF Safe-Stop uses radio frequency pulses to "confuse" a vehicle's electronic systems, cutting its engine.

A not too dissimilar idea has been implemented for years. Shooting a wire to anything metal on the car and apply voltage, essentially applying voltage to ground.

Yeah, maybe I'll manage to read a few of his articles someday; hopefully they won't be pulled too soon.

Oh and I already saw the propaganda in action. Search engine brought me enough titles that didn't even need a complete article read. They did their best to picture him as an alcoholic, junkie, paranoid and so on. If story can't be hidden from the people, discreditation comes immediately into action. See here, for example.

The idea of an EMP (electro-magnetic pulse) has been exploited many years ago in sci-fi movies. At this point I can't even say if sci-fi preceded the technology or it was the other way around. All I know is humanity's road ahead is scary at best. :(

Now here is some philanthropy you better believe in!

Remember these disgusting pieces of advertisements for code.org where they bring out Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates and even some moron Hip-Hop guy which will (should) make any real coder to puke?

Well, check this out:

Code.org wants participating students' data for 7 years.

As part of its plan to improve computer science education in the U.S., the Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates-backed Code.org is asking school districts to sign a contract calling for Code.org to receive 'longitudinal student achievement data' for up to seven academic years in return for course materials, small teacher stipends, and general support. The Gates Foundation is already facing a backlash from the broader academic community over attempts to collect student data as part of its inBloom initiative. The Code.org contract also gives the organization veto power over the district teachers selected to participate in the Code.org program, who are required to commit to teaching in the program for a minimum of two school years.'

Ah yeah, suck on that self serving philanthropy!
Then again, what else could be expected from names like Zuckerberg and Gates?
