You know, thinking about it, a deskbar makes much more sense that a taskbar, no? I mean you don't really have your tasks in this bar and it doesn't do any tasks either. It's more a deskbar than a taskbar because well, it's a bar on your desk you put stuff on it.

I dunno, it looks more like a bar than a panel. Panel, in my mind is more... square. :problem:

Microsoft is working on a new browser, code-named "Spartan", which may be included with the release of Windows 10. Instead of improving IE, it sounds as though MS is continuing their longstanding tradition of scrapping a product and rolling something new out. This is essentially a brainwashing technique that's been used all throughout history to revitalize interest in something. It would be like renaming Skype to something else, and rolling that out as a "new" product.

Skype, the insecure VoIP application with government backdoors and that's vulnerable to NSA spying as Microsoft hands over whatever customer data (this includes voice calls) to the U.S. government, will most likely be directly tied into the new Spartan browser. Yay!

Just for anyone that did not know, Skype is not a secure form of communication and its encryption is not secure.

Yeah, it's pretty ugly but it's not as god awful as Windows 8.x. I watched the Microsoft keynote yesterday and the level of excitement amongst the audience was about the same as if they were all sitting in a mausoleum. Don't forget how Windows 8 "shattered perceptions" and "kicked off a new era for Microsoft"!
