American Political Theater

Since the democrats just lost the house and at the end of the day Americans just really care about their pay check, the whole republican vs. democrat argument becomes a moot point. Since the democratic party has just about fucked up every single thing they've touched in government and don't respect the constitution, the American people are starting to wake up and vote moronic people out of government. Obama's now going to play the race card by recommending a black lady to be the new attorney general, and is also saying the FCC should create rules for net neutrality. Just recently, Obama said that he had to let Tom Wheeler do his job and that it wasn't his place to tell the guy how to run things. Obama's only changing his stance on net neutrality in order to gain more political support for his party. Why do you think he's leaving the borders wide open? So those people will eventually become citizens and become part of the great democratic party. They may, after all, be eligible for food stamps and all types of other governmental perks. I don't see another liberal being in the White House in 2016. Watching Obama read a teleprompter makes his whole shtick that much more believable.

Not too much into this political stuff in U.S.A but isn't net neutrality a good thing? I'm a bit confused. It seems like a good thing as far I can understand this whole thing.

While I agree that most politics in the States amount to little more than theater, the Net Neutrality thing is something that needs acted on. Obama has no say-so in the matter, so that's just more theater or a sad attempt to gain popularity with the stupid. Your call.

The FCC seems to be trying its best to sort it out, at least to me. I know this is kinda old news, but it's seeing the light of day again, because of Verizon's lunacy:

Essentially, Verizon boohoos about Title II of the Communications Act, but then uses it when it's beneficial to them.
