[off topic @Problemchild] Yes, I didn't look my PMs at MSFN yesterday. And yes, some settings are important for it to work. I'm glad you managed to fix it.

I suggest a new board section to follow legal matters, court cases, maybe even the law in general.

Steven,

 We have merged your post into the "Suggestions" thread. If you look at the top links of the Web site, there is a link to it.

Regarding your suggestion, it is interesting but the question is, if there will be enough threads to fill that section up? We suggest you use the "General discussion" for now. If such threads start to pile up, then we will create a new separate section for it. Although, if you plan to invite 10+ lawyers as users, then of course, it would be a different matter and we could create a new section dedicated for it from the start but we are guessing that it is not the case right now.

We would like to avoid becoming similar and behaving like forums such as MSFN, a long list of forum upon subforum upon section upon subsection where 99% of them are dead. Please see the attached picture below, that is what we are trying to prevent. A looooooooooooooooong pile of steaming list of forums and subforums. :)

I think PROBLEMCHYLD said it nicely a few months back:

I did some Googling for search terms that are related to this forum such as: "Windows 8 sucks" and "Microsoft Sucks" and came up with nothing. If more of the MS sucks threads came up on Google I think this forum would generate a lot more traffic. Do some searches yourself and see what comes up.

Yeah, I see your point and we could even buy AdWords for it but the thing is that we should not be marked as a pure Microsoft dislike place, a bit like a one trick pony. Such Web sites die rather quickly.

That is why we launched http://www.techtalk.cc, to be a more general technology forum.

although, bit odd because we do get a lot of "ms sux" variation hits when I look at the statistics. hehe

The more you write good articles, the more they will gather. Your stuff get a pretty good amount of hits actually and I personally do enjoy reading them. ::mrgreen::

I agree that this shouldn't be just a MS sucks site, but I used some search terms which came to mind, where I browsed probably over 10 pages on Google and nothing showed up. That is why it would be interesting for other forum members to search for other specific search terms to see what they get. And that's great that articles on here are getting hits including mine, and thanks :)

We now need more articles to be written here, even if each forum member did one or two per week!

CharlotteTheHarlot was going to write a lot of articles but life has a way of getting in your way sometimes. We still hope to see him return in the future, however.
