Guys, just a side note. You CAN upload pictures in here. There is an "Upload attachment" function just below "Submit" button where you post replies. It is better to use our upload function rather than using tinypic or any other service because those links tend to die with time. When you use our upload function, the files will not disappear and will be inside your post. You can also use a "Place inline" button to put the picture in the middle of your text.

Sorry for the double post. I was just thinking though, wouldn't it be grand if the forum said something like "we noticed there are image links in your post. would you like the images cached locally so shit like this doesn't happen in the future?" when you hit Submit?

Indeed it would but that is something very complex to achieve, build and mix into the phpBB software we use. For now, we moderate pictures manually and upload them. (By the way, your suggestion got moved into "Opinions and suggestions" topic in order to not mess up the Windows 98 talk.)

Ps. Your pictures are attached to that post you made, so it's all good. The side note was just a tip. You don't "have" to upload them. If you don't upload, we will upload for you... but damn you, we will! ...because of the extra work you create for us! hahahhaa (just kidding)
