Unfortunately the original blog post is dead, but screenshots are used in the article.

Essentially, some dinosaur at Microsoft uses what he considers his son's laziness in a sad attempt to compare Google Apps to Microsoft Office 365. The obvious winner in the dinosaur's eyes is 365. He eventually gets to some point that they agree on -- Google Apps, used at son's school, messes up sonny-boy's PowerPoint presentations. Now of course, the obvious solution is to switch to 365, right?

As the author (of the article, not the blog post) says:

... And students, not being pros, need something that was "built for professionals."


That's the world Microsoft still lives in, not realizing the computer (in all its forms) and all software/services are just tools and can be replaced. It's kind of sad, really, to see Microsoft trying to cater to kids while alienating both the dinosaurs and the folks that did get it, but either liked or didn't mind Microsoft products.
