How exciting! Especially when encryption doesn't matter anymore, and the NSA has backdoor access to Microsoft's cloud services. I swear, people need to wake up.

I have to laugh at the bit:

In a move that's great news for anyone plugged into its ecosystem, Microsoft is emailing Windows Phone users with offers of 20GB of free SkyDrive space.

20GB!!!! GREAT NEWS!!! HAHAHA!!! When is the ticker-tape parade?

Clever of them.

You have a big chunk of empty space and you suddenly get the urge to fill it up, running through your data plan. I wonder if the phone companies are paying a consideration fee!

I hear this plan is a bait and switch anyway. One year I think, then they send you a bill.
