@PROBLEMCHYLD,

Thank you. My attitude has gotten me into a lot of trouble over the years but hey... who cares. :mrgreen:

Hey, glad I could help, and glad that techtalk posted the german site. But the real thanks goes to Dencorso - it was his censorship of the information on MSFN that raised my interest and so I brought it here to a more open and relaxed forum. I wonder if he's trying to help Rlowe sell more copies of his ram patch and doesn't want anyone else to know about this 4-year-old German patch...

Hahahhaahhaha... I love this! ::thumbup::

It is so sad that there are so few forums out there like ours. Hopefully, we will continue to be the shining beacon of freedom among those fools.

Hey "98 Guy", by the way, you better not reveal what nickname you have on MSFN. The chance of it getting banned and your posts swiftly deleted is pretty high. That's what they did to me.

It's no longer there at the end of that thread. Why do users put up with games like that by the moderators? Why are they so anal about an OS that has long since been of any interest to Micro$oft?

It's simple. Because they are fools. :relaxed:

MSFN is like, not cool, man!!!! :razz: :shh:

No wonder that place is dead. You can't even have a discussion without getting sarcastic little emoticons, and attitude from half the "advanced" members. Just because you might have a different way of troubleshooting something, they're like.... uh, it's time for some eye rolling emoticons. Spare me your emoticons. If you have a point to make about something, then say it already. Don't beat around the bush and assume that I know what you're thinking.
:???:

I was right about a few things, but decided to let them slide just to spare myself endless debate with 1 or 2 crazy persons over there. Hell, I even apologized once or twice, just to shut them up. Give the babies their bottle. That's the kind of mindfuckery going on over there. Scared to get banned, so apologize when you're right. Great recipe for a forum. Not saying I'm perfect. But it's not my goal to stifle input from other people.

It's like basic etiquette. Which they don't have.

For example, if you disagree with something, you might say, "I see what you're saying, but..."

Instead of....
:thumbup: :wink: :evil: :sick: :wave: :mad: :eek:

Oh well. I've said my piece. It ain't worth the trouble to even rant about it. It is what it is.

If you enjoy walking on egg shells MSFN would be great for you!

Just as an example, I was "Debating" with one user there about the Windows ME boot disk. The guy was jumping all over me for not calling it "emergency boot disk"... yes, I know what the fuck it's called.

Also, I made the point that format.com isn't included when making a ME boot disk, and offhand suggested a tool for improving it. But he didn't believe me. Instead, he breaks out the attitude and the emoticons... and is like, whats wrong with the boot disk? He starts huffing puffing about it.

And he's like, well just type in "Format /s.... "

little did he know, that^ option isn't available in Windows ME. Nor is format.com included when building a boot disk. So, of course, I have to endure his attitude this entire time.

So, not wanting to start something, I just give in and Im like, fine, you're right... now leave me alone.

I wonder how much other crap those "experts" are wrong about.

Maybe some of the admins and forum users over at MSFN have a really tiny dick and are seeking a power grab through the forum. You never know what skeletons people have in their closet, and a forum is the perfect place to hide your identity and exercise your power over others (as an admin). The problem with their methodology of banning, censoring, and being rude, is that all it takes is another forum (like this one) for people to find using google based on search terms, and the more people that find out about it, the more that a shitty ass forum like MSFN dies off. Screen shots, copying and pasting text, and in-depth review are all methods to annihilate complete idiots that don't know their own head from their ass. As your reputation goes into the crapper as more and more users are oppressed and alienated, the more you're looking at the end of the road for your forum.

Now, I don't participate on MSFN and never will, but it looks like it's one of those forums that won't die off anytime soon because it's "special". :lol:

In here, even the moderators/administrators are not allowed to post with our joint administrative account.

In here, each one of us is a regular user. Just as everyone else.

That's why you can even insult a moderator freely and without worry.

Yes, speak freely because this place is for adults. :relaxed:

(Don't forget to reply to our verification email. If you fail to reply, your account will die.)

Hi LostInSpace2012 (I hope I wasn't one of the crazies you meant LOL)

Good to see you here. I know you and I had some disagreements about ME viewpoints but we worked it out. I find Jaclaz and Submix8c especially rude to people however. They think they own the forum. Follow the link to this post and see how "helpful" Jaclaz was to this newbie:

http://www.msfn.org/board/topic/171952- ... eady-2009/

I mean; what an ass! Just answer the guy's question. But no, Jaclaz and Submix8c go their lengths to make you feel dumb. When I kindly mentioned my viewpoints on how I felt submix8c was treating me, they ALL run to his defense (dencorso, bphplt (he is a niceguy however), but they all sickeningly defend each other (and why? because he has posted 3,600 + times, well who cares? Whoop-di-doo, he treating people like ass, and something should be done about it)

Notice, just weeks after I was repeatedly told I was talking too much about Windows XP EOL and Update issues, there are now three to five separate threads on POSReady2009 updates on XP. So why is it OK that they talk about it ad nauseum, but not me?

I see that the admins and long time posters all seem to protect each other there (which might be honourable and all, but they treat it like it's a closed club)

Feel good to rant and get that off my chest...lol

Cheers,
J. T.
