It's over. Any belief that Mr. Nadella might have half a brain can be abandoned:

On Monday, the company confirmed a number of executive changes, most notably the elevation of Mark Penn to the role of chief strategy officer.

Penn was the brains behind Microsoft's "Scroogled" ad campaign, which mocked and criticized rival Google for a number of business practices. Before that, he was a pollster for President Clinton and was chief strategist for Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign.

Heh... he doesn't look like a guy who can even install Windows. Although, sometimes, higher ups have less power and influence in certain areas, perhaps Mr. Nadella is aiming at that. Give the politician guy a fancy title, which he probably likes and put someone else to do the real job.

It's better to be a dog in a peaceful time than be a man in a chaotic period. :|

Whether people like Microsoft or not, many see the Scroogled ad campaign as a bullying effort, and see that the underdog is doing whatever it can to make the big boys look as bad as possible. Finger pointing marketing is completely stupid and childish, and obviously doesn't work very well. How many people am I emailing that have an address at outlook.com? No one. Microsoft probably didn't fire this idiot because he has past political ties, and that could be bad news for the company in their eyes. I am astonished to see these idiotic moves continue within the company. Just get rid of the guy for fucks sake! He's a fucking moron and belongs nowhere in the company. What a bunch of afraid pussies within the sinking Titantic. Seriously, does anyone within MS have a backbone? Even Steve Ballmer is staying on the board.
