I almost shat my pants! I was looking at the wrong folder while backing up and for like 30 seconds, I thought I deleted A WHOLE BUNCH OF LIVE AND BACKUP MIRRORED FILES from the servers! Can't describe the panic! 
Lucky me, I was just looking at the wrong folder and it was supposed to be empty.
