On a Google page about Android App Bundle, the company touts many potential improvements with the new format, such as smaller app downloads for users. But the format has a catch: Android App Bundles are a format that only Google Play uses, which could complicate app redistribution.
The timing of Google’s announcement also comes just days after Microsoft announced Windows 11, which has the ability to let you sideload Android apps as APKs.

An initial look at Edge on Linux left me with the impression that it isn't that bad of a browser. That should not be shocking, it is based on Chromium after all. Now, I've NOT done a really thorough test of the thing, but one minor gripe is the way it handles themes that you get from them (Microsoft). Note in my screenshot, there's no preview really, it just shows a generic icon and apparently you can't store more than one. I know, it's minor. I will say, the selection's small, but decent at Microsoft's site (https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/add ... dge-themes) and, if you'll note, in my screenshot, at least for now, they offer the option of getting more @ the Chome Web Store.

I keep looking at this stuff in a state of almost disbelief. I didn't realize that MS had ported Teams to linux quite some time ago:

Linux

Users will be able to install native Linux packages in .deb and .rpm formats. Installing the DEB or RPM package will automatically install the package repository.

DEB https://packages.microsoft.com/repos/ms-teams stable main
RPM https://packages.microsoft.com/yumrepos/ms-teams

They may as well make pretty much all of the office apps available too. You can already load the Office 365 app in a browser. Other folks are making them available and looking more like native apps (bear in mind, the 'native' apps on Android, iOS, and Windows [assuming you're using 365] are web apps too). .deb and .rpm has Ubuntu and RedHat covered. That's probably good enough.

For that matter, MS probably should attempt to port the Game Pass streaming service over too.

If this is their future, why not go all in?

HOLY FUUUU... glad I decided to look before hitting submit:
