I've been looking for something of an e-reader on Linux for a relative. That state of text to speech is kinda shit on Linux, from all I've seen. Microsoft's SAPI looks good relatively speaking, and these online 'natural voices' baked into Edge work really well, but it'd be nice to have something work if the internet went down. I suppose too, it might be nice to have text to speech that didn't communicate with an online server. Just saying.
