Yeah, that's pretty cool. I think I've mentioned that TrustedInstaller being shown as a user shit as one of my major gripes about Vista and 7 before. I would personally not just delete the folder for WMP, for example, I think I'd try to dig up an installation for said version and try to find it's uninstall (exe or inf, whatevs). Heck, I don't even know, they may be there (on the drive/in some directory) already. I seriously doubt there's even such a thing as an uninstaller for Winders Defender on a modern install. I suppose removing it and cleaning the registry might do.
