This almost needs no comment, only one word: LOL!

Adobe's Creative Suite is dead. It's the end of the line for boxed versions of Photoshop, InDesign, and the rest.

Adobe's Creative Suite and the applications that make it up "Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Premiere, and a host of others" have been staples of many professional toolboxes for almost a decade now. The full suite itself has been available since September of 2003, and many of its applications have a history that reach back even further. Today at its MAX conference, however, Adobe announced a major shift in strategy for the software: boxed versions, along with their perpetual licenses, will no longer be available for any Adobe software newer than CS6. Going forward, subscribing to Adobe's Creative Cloud service will be the only way to upgrade your software.

They are trying to become like the utility companies. Boy, am I glad that I am used to Paint Shop Pro and GIMP. Rule number one: NEVER EVER become reliant on specialized tools and functions unless you absolutely HAVE to.

Ad Exec: Learn to code or you're dead to me.

"In a widely-read WSJ Op-Ed, English major Kirk McDonald, president of online ad optimization service PubMatic, informed college grads that he considers them unemployable unless they can claim familiarity with at least two programming languages. 'Teach yourself just enough of the grammar and the logic of computer languages to be able to see the big picture,' McDonald advises. 'Get acquainted with APIs. Dabble in a bit of Python. For most employers, that would be more than enough.' Over at Typical Programmer, Greg Jorgensen is not impressed. 'I have some complaints about this "everyone must code" movement,' Jorgensen writes, 'and Mr. McDonald's article gives me a starting point because he touched on so many of them.'"

Hahaha... they are sure desperate now, from using hip-hop artists to Bill Gates doing commercials about coding... LET THEM EAT CAKE! Mohahhahahaa...

By the way, it is 100% completely safe to upload pictures in here. Exactly as safe as when you upload picture on other image hosting services. Only and only your file name and NOT the file path will be sent to the server.

Xbox One: constantly listening to conversations.

With the announcement of Microsoft's next generation gaming console, the Xbox One, it has emerged that the new system carries a device that will be "constantly listening" to gamer's conversations.

During a PR move designed to make the Xbox One appear more attractive, Microsoft's hardware program manager, John Link, let slip that a component bundled with the console, the Kinect, will contain a microphone that never turns off.

The new system can automatically detect and identify users through their body shape and voice. The system can also monitor heart rates.

Hello Xbox One, Goodbye freedom.

...you'll have to get online regularly to use the Xbox One at all. In fact, even if you only want to play single-player games, you need to sign on to Xbox Live about once a day...

...you have to maintain a reliable connection to regularly sign on to Xbox Live. It doesn't matter if you only play single player games and it really doesn't matter if your Internet connection is spotty. If you can't phone Microsoft with your Xbox One every day (or any other length of time in a "potential scenario"), you can't play...

It gets better. According to Wired, used games are limited with online verification. That means you can't readily find a second-hand game, or trade it to a friend, or do anything with it without paying a fee through Microsoft.

Once again, something you buy is limited and controlled by the manufacturer even after you pay money for it. And, once again, it relies on an online connection to work at all.

If you want to use the Xbox One, you have to use the Kinect. According to Polygon, it will always be listening. You can't disconnect it. You can't turn it off.

...if you use your Xbox One for watching TV, it will be watching you whenever you're in your living room. ...the features don't have any opt out; the only way to get the Kinect to not watch and listen to you is to turn the Xbox One off.

Twitter begins two-factor authentication roll out, using SMS.

It is for your own protection of course... after all, there is a war on the security front! Ooh ooh, big bad wolf hackers will eat you! Yeah right. They want to track and identify you, hence using SMS via your cell phone.

This guy is all over the place, from Google, the spy corporation is worried for our privacy to now The Google chairman, Eric Schmidt, has told political leaders to sort out a rational and predictable international tax system.

Brave new world!

Don't get me wrong though, I have always felt that Earth belongs to ALL humans. We are ALL humans and countries and borders are silly in general. In a perfect world, humans should be able to live and move to whichever area of the planet they wish without restrictions.

I find unelected corporations mixed up with politics a little creepy, however.
