Tech talk, cold comfort.

I was horrified the last time I saw an episode of Sesame Street, one of the actresses a child nonetheless, had AIDS (perhaps just acting) and everybody was "learning" that it was okay. I agree, there are certain things that little kids don't need to know about.

I have nothing against gays or lesbians or whatever but oh man, why do they call it a "civil rights movement"? I mean, the naming suggests that this is almost the same as what black people had to endure back in the old days. I find the naming a little tasteless.

Nintendo promises to push gay agenda on children, progressive left has politicized same-sex movement and fashioned the gay lifestyle into a civil rights movement.

I don't follow his Web sites or radio but oh man, that Alex Jones is usually a bit over the top if you ask me... for some reason, I always picture him with a blow horn speaker.


...but on this, you know, this is a bit weird. How the fuck do you connect civil rights movement to a fucking game? I'm not sure how I feel about this thing. As "I, user." says, it may be a little tasteless. It kind'a lessens the suffering of black people or like, almost makes fun of it, no?

Although, personally, I think games should be games and let the game creators decide what the fuck they want to do with their own game... but at the same time, players should have the choice of choosing a female or male character. Not by force, however. The game maker should be able to decide that if he/she wants to allow it or not. Then let the players vote with their wallet.

For example, in ARMA 2 (and I think in ARMA 3), you can't choose a female player. Which kind'a blows. Would love to have more female players but if the game makers don't like to have it in the game, well, I don't want to force it to them really but it would be cool to have female players.

OK, my two cents had not much to do about the gay/lesbian/green alien thing but yeah... I need more tea.

Everyone should have basic human rights but connecting the sexuality issue with the black slave thing is certainly, as you put it, not exhibiting good taste.

I don't have anything against gays or lesbians, but any type of sexual content shouldn't be exposed to children at all. The same goes for drugs and alcohol. Pretty soon its going to be legal to Fuck your pets which people are already doing, then you will have the child molesters who want their rights as well to have sex with children. Why not grant it to them? I can't wait til this world ends
