Odd. Try clearing this domain's cookies and see if it will work again. Guessing the IE cookies are broken. By the way, is it IE 7? We generally don't support older browsers, however, but clearing cookies might help.

Ps. This is phpBB forum software so basically, the choice of not supporting a certain browser is not on our end but on phpBB folks. Although, theoretically it "should" work even in IE 6.

I can view this site just fine with IE 8, the thing is, I can't log in with IE 8.

It is very strange. There has to be some cookie issue somewhere. Although, since Microsoft did issue IE 9 as a critical update, we do recommend that you upgrade if possible. We never recommend to run an old version of a browser because browsers are now a kind of "platform" and no longer just a simple way to browser some text on the Internet.

You could also try to reinstall IE 8 and see if that helps but then again, upgrading IE is probably the better solution if you absolutely need this fixed.

As a side note, certainly, we are aware of Microsoft's moronic ways regarding upgrading to a new IE but that's for another time. :relaxed:

How weird. I can't log in with IE8 (I get a picture like PROBLEMCHYLD, they seem to change), but Firefox is OK.

Make that, I can't log in OR view the site with IE8. (I haven't found the way to edit a previous post.)

Yes, phpBB does not seem to work in IE8 or perhaps it has to do with the specific customized theme we use.

:!: Attention :!:

If you post a picture in "The lounge" of foolsdesign.org, there is no delay and it will be shown immediately in foolsdesign.org.
If you post a picture in "The lounge" of techtalk.cc, there is no delay and it will be shown immediately in techtalk.cc.

There is a small delay of 30 minutes if you post a picture from "The lounge" in foolsdesign.org until the picture is shown in "The lounge" of techtalk.cc.

This is because the domains do not use the same "files" folder and it is replicated between the two domains. The delayed replication will be in place until we solve the technical issues causing this.

So don't panic, no files are lost. :relaxed:

The delay is no longer there. This issue has been solved. (Detailed explanation on how we solved it can be found here »)

When I login to foolsdesign.org domain, I can't see the "Fool's design, editorials" section. It is visible for the non-logged-in users. :? Techtalk.cc works fine, however.
