Do we have hosting/server problems?

Am I the only one who keeps seeing this error pretty often in here?

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@ and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Maybe that cheap plan from "Namecheap" wasn't all that good. :? :(

The issue should be solved soon.

EDIT: If issues like this continue to reoccur, we will have to upgrade to a "Business Hosting"-plan. :?

Well, it seems that because we have grown so fast in a short time with many visitors, our "Value Plan" does no longer cut it. A support ticket has been submitted to upgrade it to a more expensive "Business Hosting". We might experience some downtime while the account is being upgraded and moved to another server.

EDIT: "All upgrades are processed on the prorate basis, thus you will need to pay only for the difference between the two plans.","The prorated unused amount of $30.47 left from your annual Value plan has been added to your hosting credit. It will be applied automatically to the next generated invoice for the period Apr/12/2013 - May/12/2013.". Excellent!

Is this running on virtualization that will allow you to run some kind of swap space, either a file or partition? Might be an easy work around for low ram, depending on the VPS architecture your OS in running under.

Thanks for the tip! But no, not currently. The cheapo plan was too limited for our high visitor count. The new "Business Hosting" plan seems to be working just fine for now though. We avoided buying a virtualized plan to keep things simple in the beginning.
