So they locked you all in for their profits and to control you "for your security". Now you are neither free nor secure. How was it now... hm... ah yeah... I remember now... "People willing to trade their freedom for temporary security deserve neither and will lose both." ...so true, so true indeed.

Researchers manage to get malware published in Apple's iOS App Store.

While the posting of malware remains a rare occurrence on Apple's iOS App Store, a team of security researchers figured out a way to get a malicious piece of software past Apple's certification team. The team from Georgia Tech said that the app was approved and published by Apple in March...

Baby steps to slavery, entering the invisible prison, feudalism in IT. 8-)

Ps. The attached picture is in no way ment to belittle the slavery of black people. White, brown, black, green or purple, we are ALL entering into slavery now. The difference is that this time, people are doing it WILLINGLY and joyfully. Scary stuff. :?

Here is another creepy one:

Google patents 'pay-per-gaze' eye-tracking that could measure emotional response to real-world ads.

Pay per gaze advertising need not be limited to on-line advertisements, but rather can be extended to conventional advertisement media including billboards, magazines, newspapers, and other forms of conventional print media. Thus, the gaze tracking system described herein offers a mechanism to track and bill offline advertisements in the manner similar to popular online advertisement schemes.

The idea is to measure how long a person looks at an ad, as well as their emotional response as indicated by pupil dilation.

The big corporations are now really getting desperate to find real coders so now they are creating a slave factory, training children at a young age to become corporate slaves.

Samsung unveils software clubs for South Korean teens.

Don't believe me? Here is a quote:

Samsung's intent is to produce "fresh sprouts of the software industry". ...students between the ages of eleven and seventeen... In doing so, they just might train up the next generation of corporate employees, too.

Get them slaves "employees" before they start to learn the critical thinking.

Does your kid need a LinkedIn profile? - At this rate, professional networking may one day start in kindergarten.

LinkedIn's decision to allow teenagers as young as 14 to create profiles on the site suggests that the online resume of the future may one day cover careers going all the way back to preschool...

Taking your freedoms and privacy away one small step at a time, this time it is to fight the "trolls". LOL!

Just wait until they slowly make being anonymous on the Internet illegal. You hear it here first. ;)

Huffington: Trolls uglier than ever, so we're cutting off anonymous comments.

The days of anonymous commenting on The Huffington Post are numbered. Founder Arianna Huffington said in a question-and-answer session with reporters in Boston Wednesday that the online news site plans to require users to comment on stories under their real names, beginning next month.

"Freedom of expression is given to people who stand up for what they're saying and not hiding behind anonymity," she said.

Huffington was in the Hub to deliver a keynote address at the Inbound marketing conference, where she focused on work-life balance for business leaders.

But while talking to reporters after her speech about the need for businesses to evolve, she spilled the beans early on the commenting announcement, which apparently had been planned for a future date.

"We've just made a decision - we're going to announce it soon, but here you are," Huffington said. "I'm announcing it now. We're going to end anonymity in comments."

She noted that HuffPo already has an advanced comment screening algorithm and 40 human monitors. And the site does not want to risk losing its robust culture of reader dialogue. More than 260 million comments have been posted since Huffington Post was launched in 2005.

"Nevertheless, I think trolls have become more and more aggressive and uglier," Huffington explained.

"Real names will allow the mob to chase and shame you on facebook and linkedin, potentially ruining you for saying things that the mob doesn't like."

"There's a reason for anonymous voting."

Remember folks! These are not "news" Web sites. These are "propaganda" and "agenda" sites. 8-)

Huffington wouldn't know the Constitution if it was a 2x4 and smacked her empty head.

This is a Microsoft level fail. Her sycophants are going to annihilate her and it will be reversed quickly.

Yes, yes indeed, suck on this freedom candy for a while!

Google Play developer program policy updated to require use of in-app billing service.

At the forefront, Google is now requiring all developers to use the company's own billing system when selling in-app goods.

Now, all they have to do is to remove one little checkbox that currently allows you to install applications from none Google Play store and the full lock-in will be in place. Google, Apple, Microsoft, they are locking their platforms.

Any questions, slave?

Microsoft: Xbox One and Kinect are not separate systems.

Microsoft Xbox exec Phil Harrison is blunt when it comes to the link between the Xbox One and the Kinect. He stated, "Xbox One is Kinect. They are not separate systems. An Xbox One has chips, it has memory, it has Blu-ray, it has Kinect, it has a controller. These are all part of the platform ecosystem."

But of course, after all, it IS a spying device. What good would it do without its spying tentacles.

I mean, seriously, imagine having that creepy piece of crap in your living room, jeez. :?
