Shortcuts are only added when you select optional components. Example, if you install Word 97, you will get Word 97 icon on the desktop. Thats as simple as it gets. I don't like clutter either. The other options create shortcuts in the menu. I have listed the ones that will be on the desktop if you install the options.

Code: Select all

- Microsoft Distributed COM Configurator 5.0.1603.1
- Microsoft Management Console 1.2.0
- Microsoft RegClean 4.1.7364.1
- Microsoft Word 97 SR-2
- Oleviewer 2.1.0.60
- Windiff File Comparison Utility 6.0.6000.16384
- WinTop 0.95.0.0

Is Word 97 legal to distribute like that in your service pack?

Stop asking dumbass questions. I have explained this many times. Everything in the SP is legit. Read the fucking instructions/manual etc.... I hate explaining the same shit over and over again. Few months from now, some dumbass will ask the same fucking question.

It is not legit nor legal because I took all of Microsoft FREE software, updates, hotfixes and bundle them together. Microsoft has sued me a couple Billion times for distributing their free products.

@marianos76,

Don't mean no disrespect but what part of PROBLEMCHYLD's sentence, "...I'm pretty much done with MSFN. You have any problems, report them here. They will be ignored over there...", didn't you understand?
