Eric Frein, the man who shot two police officers which took the life of one, has been captured. The DA will now seek out the death penalty for Frein's actions. What I find funny, is that when cops kill innocent people, they almost never get punished -- and this is probably why Mr. Frein did what he did in the first place. We're starting to see it more and more; fringe people are targeting police officers because they feel that the justice system is unfair and corrupt, and they're willing to spare their life to get a thug (in their eyes) off the street. We just saw this same type of thing in Las Vegas this year, where two whack jobs murdered two police officers having a meal at a restaurant.

All people, whether in government or not, should be punished equally. Unfortunately, that's not the case. Want an example?

Darrell Edward Issa (/'a?s?/; born November 1, 1953) is the Republican U.S. Representative for California's 49th congressional district, serving since 2001.

Twice that year, he was arrested. In the first incident he was indicted by a grand jury for an alleged theft of a Maserati, but prosecutors dropped the charge.[16] In the second incident, he was stopped for driving the wrong way on a one-way street, and a police officer noticed a firearm in his glove compartment. Issa was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. He pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of an unregistered firearm, and was sentenced to six months' probation and a small fine.[16] Issa has said he believes the record has since been expunged.

Shortly before his discharge in 1980, Issa was again indicted for grand theft auto. According to court documents, his brother, William Issa, had gone to a used car dealer and offered to sell his brother's car, a 1976 Mercedes sedan, while impersonating his brother. With an Ohio driver's license belonging to Darrell, William was given $16,000 for the car from the dealer. Shortly after the sale, Darrell reported the car stolen and told the police that he had left the title in the trunk. During the investigation Darrell reportedly gave conflicting statements as to whether or not he had recently obtained a replacement driver's license.[citation needed] The brothers were indicted for grand theft. Darrell claimed he had no knowledge of his brother's impersonation and sale, while William claimed that his brother had authorized him to sell the car. As the investigation continued, Darrell went to the dealership the car was sold to and repurchased his car. A few months later, investigators dropped the charges against him. In 1981 in Cleveland, Darrell Issa crashed a truck he was driving into another motorist's car and, according to court records, Issa told her that he did not have time to wait for the police and left the scene. The other motorist sued Issa for $20,000; they eventually settled out of court for an undisclosed amount.

This is just one person that's in congress, and there are plenty more that have just as dirty of a past or worse. It's really disgusting that we have these kinds of people in office and that the sheeple keep reelecting them. The United States as we knew is over and it's not coming back, ever. We're esentually turning into what Russia is after the collapse of communism; it's just Americans don't know it because they're too stupid to understand anything other than their iPhone and Jersey Shore.

The point of my post is that Americans already know what freedom is and know what a gun grab is. The more that fringe people are pushed up against a wall -- and whom will witness and take detailed notes in terms of the injustices which occur in the justice system -- the more incidents of cop killings we'll see. It's a backlash effect, and there's no getting rid of it and no amount of extra security that will stop this. What can curb it, however, is a justice system that's fair across the board. No get out of jail cards for anybody. That's how I'd run things if it were on my watch.
