Most of the time, Web site paging is stupid.
In the digital age, where we have unlimited vertical scrolling space, splitting Web sites into several pages is stupid. Mostly. Especially when you do so to force your visitors to generate more clicks.
Yup. It is stupid, obnoxious and self-serving.
In the early web days when most pages were gray and links were blue they took advantage of all that unlimited vertical space and used it. No paging ( except when their were lots of images, I mean lots because everything was still GIF ).

The most stupid is that the useful content is drowned in a sea of garbage. Real content is something like 10% of what's displayed on the page (and less than 1% in data volume).
They do this to force us to watch more adds.
Also noticed how pictures became tinier and tinier as our monitor screens grew bigger and bigger?

I actually have an article in mind about that one. Still pondering on it but will post it here soon. That subject has been bugging me a good while now.
