You probably have some other package installed because its suppose to display Windows 98 Second Edition
I double and triple-checked any check-boxes before installation and none of them were checked except Main Updates / System core files. (even though I could've been blind at first glance)PROBLEMCHYLD wrote: ↑2020-11-19 19:39You probably have some other package installed because its suppose to display Windows 98 Second Edition
At this point I'm having doubts if it's actually Win98 SE that is installed on my rig and not the standard Win98 (non-SE).
Desk.cpl is broken anyway because of some fishy nVidia drivers I installed so I'll have to reformat and throw in another Win98 SE installation.
Thank you for your reply :) I will pay more attention to the check-boxes on the next Win98 installation

Hello ! I have a problem with the way folders are displayed.
Every time I install Windows 98 SP3 v3.65 - Main Updates / System core files ( only )
the information bar on the left of the window disappears, although the [as Web Page] option is checked,
and on the internet explorer 6 I can no longer access web pages. Looks like it stuck in a kind of refresh loop.
I already searched on google without finding any solution.
How can I restore the "View Folders as Web Page" option?
Thank you in advance !
